The Satori Way for Ecuador

Taken from the Satori Way facebook page, posted on the 21st of April

'Satori Way is not a product, not a service, it's a feeling. You can buy clothes or have tennis coaching with us but it runs deeper than that. Creating 'Satori' (moments of enlightenment) for as many people as possible. By dreaming big, by challenging yourself, by growing as a person and taking that growth to shape the immediate world around you. In short we are here to inspire and to create a happy day for all. About a year ago Satori Way started to push forward harder and we will continue to develop every day. Health and well-being and the essence of everything starts from within so take care of you.'

These are the words that I want to live by and creating moments of Satori for others and myself is paramount to everything that I do and Satori Way does. Whether it be my run to Perth in December or providing a leg up to people in need.

Right now we have a stockpile of Hoodies, sitting in storage as sales are certainly not where we thought they would be. I'm sitting here contemplating the whole reason for the original purchase and production. Were we silly in investing all of our money to get a Hoodie line up and running? Maybe, I'm not 100% sure. We are yet to crack the market and have the opportunity to share our Hoodies, we are trying!

It's a difficult thing competing with the big, good looking companies out there. When you are new there is no trust, no faith and of course the expectations are high for what clothing should be. I love wearing the hoodies, they are comfortable and I think look pretty cool. Let's hope we can start moving and here's why:

Every Hoodie sold over the coming months will help out a country in need. Ecuador. They have experienced such a horrible tragedy and we want to do our bit too help. As you know our investment for these hoodies is high and our debt is also high. Not anyone's problem but ours. I'd love to be able to do more to help the Ecuadorians but financially I can't, not yet. However, what I/we can do is donate a portion of our sales. So we have decided to donate $15 from every hoodie sale. Not only that, we will transfer the Ecuadorian coat of arms on the back of all hoodies. Your purchase will keep you warm, looking good and supporting a country that needs a helping hand.

I'm wanting to support but but this is one way and at the moment my only way to contribute. I and Satori Way hope to have your support in supporting Ecuador.
